Bye Bye 2020

Hi everyone 🙂

This will be my last blog post of 2020 and overall this is a year I won’t be sorry to see the back of. It has been one filled with chaos and loss, but from within that has risen bravery, resilience, and a determination to carry on. For me personally it has not been a bad year as I managed to get a small job which took some stress off me and enabled me to focus more on my writing, though I have to admit my attention hasn’t been one hundred percent. So, over the past few days I’ve taken time to sit down and do some serious thinking over what I want 2021 to be for me writing wise.

This year has made me realize that if I am going to achieve the goals I set myself, I’m going to have to come at my writing and all that goes with it, with greater determination and resolve. So in the last days of this year I’m going to work out what books I’ll release in 2021 and what I need to do regarding promotion and improving my writing skills. Procrastination will be kicked into touch and I am going to hit the new year running.

Before I sign off for 2020, I want to thank you for reading my blog, for following me, and for stepping into my sometimes strange world. May 2021 treat you all with kindness and may it see all your hopes and dreams fulfiled.

See you all in 2021.

A Strange Sort of Christmas

Hi everyone 🙂

Well, it’s almost here, a Christmas that is going to be unlike any other. Mine is going to be quiet, with the day probably spent resting before getting back to writing on Boxing Day. My hope is that whatever way you celebrate it this year you find some joy in it, because given all that is going on in the world we need a brief respite from the chaos, even if it is only for a few hours.

Regarding upcoming books – my last release of the year is still on schedule to see the light of day on December 31st and once it is live I will be posting the links on my Facebook page. I will also be making an announcement there soon regarding my first releases of 2021.

That’s all for now, so from my nest to your homes I send wishes for the best Christmas possible. Take care all and stay safe.

A Busy Raven

Hi everyone 🙂

Things are getting slightly hectic in my world. I’m currently getting my second Nocturnus Novel ready for release, I’m working on my two secret projects, and I’m plotting out the second Kacie Rayne Novel. Add into the mix getting ready for Christmas and my hands are pretty much full. I’m aiming to take Christmas Day and Boxing Day off, but knowing me I’ll probably end up spending it fleshing out my plans for 2021.

I have an idea of the books I want to get written next year, it’s just a matter of working out when I want specific ones to be released. My secret projects will definitely be published next year, and I’ll tell you more about them closer to their release dates. In the meantime if you are looking for something to read over the Christmas period then why not head over to my website or my Amazon Author Page to check out all my published books 🙂

Well, that’s all for now, so back into the writing cave I go.

Hello December

Hi everyone 🙂

So, we’ve reached December, a month that provides a spark of brightness on the horizon. Christmas in the Raven household will be quiet but enjoyable, and New Year’s eve I will be staying up to wave bye bye to 2020. First though there is still a lot going on in my writing world. The second Nocturnus novel is heading into its penultimate editing stage and the cover is about to get started on. My two secret projects are moving along nicely and will be out, fingers crossed, the early part of next year.

In the midst of all that, I am going to set aside some time to go over my plans and goals for next year as I want to get them set down so I can hit the ground running when 2021 makes it appearance. There will be a few minor changes taking place, one of which is spending more time writing, researching, and creating covers for my books. After all, if you want something strongly enough you have to put the time and effort in to achieve it 🙂

Well, that’s all for now. If you want to check out all my releases then either head over to my website or my Amazon Author Page where you can find them listed.

Until next time,

Raven.
