Hi everyone,
I hope you are all staying safe and well 🙂 As the title says, this is a review of how things have gone in November for me. There is a saying that goes along the lines of “The best-laid plans of mice and men often go awry.” And that has happened to me this month. I had intended on releasing Nocturnus two mid-month, then start on the second Kacie Rayne novel with the intention of releasing that end of December. However due to changes in my personal life, which are good, plans have shunted sideways. So now, I’m aiming to release the second Nocturnus novel before Christmas, with the second Kacie Rayne novel coming out the beginning of 2021. The other stories I’m working on were not coming out until next year anyway, so they aren’t impacted.
During November I’ve managed to take some time to sit and think about what my goals are for not only next month, but 2021 as a whole. I’m aiming to release more books in 2021 (more to come about exactly what ones later), increase my presence on social media, and get to grips with the marketing side of writing, (both these to be started December). I know I can achieve all these if I avoid procrastinating and this year has not exactly helped me avoid that. I’m not using that as an excuse, but sometimes it is hard to focus when the world around you is turning upside down.
A new month though is a new page in the book of life, fresh and clean, so I’m going to do what I’ve said I will do, and come 2021 when the new chapter starts, I’m going to hit the ground running.
Set your goals, aim for the moon, and even if you miss, you will land amongst the stars.
Until next time,
Raven.
