Box of Patience

Hi everyone,

Well, the past week has been interesting to say the least. Between working on my next two books I’ve been getting on with my clear out/revamp. I think we all reach points where we have to stop and reevaluate our lives, and with my box of patience close to empty, that’s where I am. It’s not a bad thing, in fact I believe it is what some would call a necessary evil.

I’m working on a new writing and promotional schedule, along with setting aside time for research and studying. I’m also making more time for reading, something I have been lax about. There are a lot of series I need to catch up on, which means my bank account will be taking a hit 🙂

In regard to my writing, my current W.I.P’s are progressing nicely and I should, if things continue to go as they are, be able to share some small pre-edit snippets from them soon.

That’s all for now. If you want to keep up to date on what is going on in my world check out my Facebook page or my website.

‘Til next time,

Raven

Monday, Monday

Hi everyone,

Well, another week has started and not in the way I’d expected. Writing has been hard today due to being unwell, but my characters and the muse are persistent so I managed to get some words down. The second Nocturnus novel is now well underway as is my secret project. If things continue as they are then both books will be out on schedule. I’ll announce the respective release dates closer to the time.

Over the weekend a new series idea took up residence in my head and I’ve started mapping it out. Given the two stories I’m currently working on and the fact the second Kacie Rayne novel is to be started soon, the first in this new series probably won’t see the light of day until early 2021.

Well, that’s all for now, so take care and stay safe and well.

News From The Nest

Hi everyone,

This week has been interesting to say the least. I’ve started a new job which involves early starts (something my body is not happy about), and that in turn has meant adjusting my writing schedule. Fortunately, things seem to be dropping into a routine that works, though I can’t say it has been smooth sailing.

The change did throw a small spanner into the works regarding the two stories I’m currently working on, but my characters are talking away and the words are flowing. The second Nocturnus novel is underway and my secret project is moving along nicely. Fingers crossed I’ll be able to share some small pre-edit snippets from both with you soon.

If you want to keep up to date with what is going on in my world then please check out my Facebook Page, which I’m aiming to upload posts to on a regular basis.

Well, that’s all for now. So until next time, take care and stay safe.

Making Plans

Hi everyone,

With my latest book, Against the Darkness now available across Amazon and work about to be started on my next novel, I’ve decided to take stock of the year so far and make plans for what remains of it. To say 2020 has been interesting so far would be a major understatement. With so much going on I thought I would find it hard to write, but the opposite is true. My desire to write has increased. New characters have stepped forward to give me their stories, and I’m loving where they are taking me.

So, what does the rest of this year hold for me? I’m working on a second Nocturnus novel and after that the second Kacie Rayne novel. I’m also working on something with a darker edge that I’m aiming to release before the end of the year. There are several things I intend on doing to progress my writing career to where I want it to be, but in regard to them it’s one step at a time.

One thing I am sure about is I’m going to keep moving forward and ensure my focus remains exactly where it needs to be.

Until next time, stay safe and well,

Raven.
